On a visit to the Tate Modern yesterday I was surprised to see a roll of Pinot-Gallizio’s industrial paintings on display. So here are a few pictures to help illustrate my translation of Activity of the Italian Section from IS#2.
Please excuse the blurriness of the photos.

It is always fascinating to see Pinot-Gallizio’s industrial painting rolls in person! The way the Situationist International experimented with long continuous rolls to critique the mass production and commercialization of art was way ahead of its time. Coming from a practical background in industrial painting services, it is really cool to see how raw, physical application techniques and industrial materials can be turned into such a iconic piece of modern art history. Thanks for sharing these photos!
